Destiny is Created

We all have a gut feeling that we have a destiny and we must achieve it. We all have a desire to reach our full potential, but the truth is, most of us never will. And that's because we hold onto fear and we fear that we may fail. We fear what others may think and we lack a work life balance. But if you never try, how do you know if you would have succeeded or not?
I've spent just about 5 years trying to figure out what my destiny is. What I've learned in those 5 years is that your destiny is what you make of it. If you start on something now, literally anything! Keep moving forward and build upon it. You will eventually achieve the satisfaction you've been aching for throughout all those years when you've felt like life was stagnant.
There are two categories you have to balance in order to fulfill your destiny. They are your personal life and work life. If these two categories aren't balanced, you will always feel like some part of your life is stagnant. If you work more than you socialize, you'll feel like you're missing out on fun parts of life. If you socialize more than you work, you're career will fail to ever take off. The most important part to remember is that you must have a balance between the two, or things will get chaotic, fast!
The next aspect to combat a stagnant life is learning. Learning is a vital part of everyone's life. The more you learn the more fail proof you will be. If you think something may interests you, learn as much as you can about it and give it a try. I promise, it won't hurt!
How many of you have been this person? You're walking the boardwalk of a beach and you see someone performing magic or playing an instrument. Than you say to yourself, "I wish I could do that". The fact is, you can! The problem is, you've never tried. At a time when an infinite amount of information is available to you at any moment throughout your day, you have no excuse to not look it up on Google, YouTube or a book. There are tutorials out there for literally anything. If anything ever interests you research it, learn it and become that person who follows through with their goals.
Being stagnant is a very difficult phase in all our lives. I've personally battled with it for 5 years. Now, I'm on the train and I'm finally getting this locomotive moving. In my personal life, I've always wanted to be a woman. I lived through years of depression and anxiety and held it back because I was afraid of showing the world who I really am. I was afraid of how my family would react and if I'd lose them. I eventually reached a point where I just didn't care anymore. And that takes me to my next point, STOP CARING WHAT OTHERS THINK!
It doesn't matter what you do with your life. Your life is your own to live, not someones else. If you strive to create your own path, others will follow along with you as long as you remain confident in who you are and stay focused on your path. The people who will try to bring you down on the way are jealous that you're living a care free life and they aren't. When I came out to my family, o thought they'd all be upset with me and they'd leave me automatically. They certainly were upset, a little. But they didn't leave me. They said it's my life and they can't stop me from doing what I want. Over the year after I came out, I made it very clear that I intend on transitioning. They're still definitely not happy, but I don't care. I stopped caring what they think and I haven't been happier in my life. It's time for you to do the same.
So remember, to stave off a stagnant life, practice work life and personal life balance. Never lose your fascination with learning and stop caring what others think. Lately I've been following this advice myself and I guarantee you, I haven't been happier. Create your own destiny like I have and work hard everyday to achieve it.
